The firm has represented acquirers, investment banks, investors, financial advisers and creditors in relation to all types of mergers and acquisitions, including, without limitation, in both national and transnational transactions, public and private tenders, privatization operations, mergers, asset sales and consolidations. In each of the above matters, we have been involved in conducting legal audit processes, as well as in the preparation and negotiation of the necessary documents to implement the merger or acquisition, share purchase agreements, subscription agreements, agreements between shareholders and non-competition agreements. Likewise, when it has been necessary to obtain regulatory authorizations as a condition for a certain operation to take effect, we have advised our clients on issues related to economic competition and foreign investment, as well as on specific regulations on financial, energy and other matters.
